Full Accreditation from YÖKAK to Our University !

Our University has been granted the Full Accreditation Certificate, the highest-level recognition in quality assurance in higher education. Following evaluations and site visits conducted by the Higher Education Quality Council of Türkiye (YÖKAK), Fırat University successfully met all the requirements of the quality assurance system and was officially declared a fully accredited university by the Council’s decision dated July 18, 2025.

This significant achievement demonstrates that our University’s institutional structure, educational activities, research endeavors, societal contributions, and administrative processes fully comply with national quality standards, as certified by YÖKAK.

Regarding this development, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, stated:
“As Fırat University, we are deeply proud to attain such a meaningful success in this special year, marking more than half a century since our foundation. This achievement, obtained through a comprehensive, rigorous, and transparent evaluation process, is the collective effort of not only our administration but also all our academic and administrative staff, as well as our students. With our quality-oriented educational approach, we will continue to contribute to the advancement of our country.”

With the Full Accreditation decision, Fırat University will further strengthen its academic reputation both nationally and internationally, reinforcing its position as a preferred center for students and academics alike.
