From November 20 to 22, 2024, the training program titled "Basic Bioinformatics Applications in Life Sciences", coordinated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Semih DALKILIÇ and supported by TÜBİTAK 2237-A, was successfully held at Fırat University. Participants had the opportunity to learn both theoretical and practical aspects of current methods in the field of bioinformatics. The program aimed to enhance researchers' bioinformatics skills and contribute to scientific studies in this field.
During the three-day training, topics such as gene and protein sequence analysis, transcriptome analysis, use of proteomic databases, bioinformatics tools and methods were covered. Practical sessions, led by expert instructors, enabled participants to gain valuable knowledge that could be applied in bioinformatics research. At the end of the program, participants were awarded certificates recognizing their achievements.
